feedback to the best of their ability and to accept constructive feedback from others. Some writers may be seeking feedback for publication; others may be editing a piece for themselves.
We aim to assign WSW members to critique groups according to genre. For this reason, we may put you on a waiting list as we search for a group that is suitable for you.
We offer programs, workshops, critique groups, open mic nights, web-based writing, contests and writers' nights, as well as newsletters.
Winston-Salem Writers is a group of writers who write fiction, non-fiction, plays and poetry, and who care about the art and craft of writing.
We welcome writers and poets at any stage of their work- from beginner to published author- and we welcome non-members to our meetings, contests, and newsletter.
We offer programs, workshops, critique groups, open mic nights, web-based writing, contests and writers' nights, as well as newsletters.
Generally, critique group assignments are temporary until all parties are comfortable working together.

To try out an existing group or put your name on the waitlist, email groups@wswriters.org with your contact information, genre(s) of writing, and days and times of availability. We are also seeking experienced critiquers interested in establishing new groups.
